Greg was great to deal with and provided a quote quickly and then was able to install it quickly too, so we weren't without hot water for very long at all. The price was competitive and the workmanship was excellent.

We were unhappy with the operation of our solar water heating system which was installed in 2006. On the advice of our electrician we contacted Greg who did a site visit, confirmed our system was not operating well and found that our hot water tank had a slight leak. So we had to do something! What differentiates Solar Works from the competition is their level of customer service. There are many companies that will sell you a generic cookie-cutter solar pv solution. Not Solar Works. They took the time to visit the site several times to ensure te design was appropriate for our needs and their communication during the install process was excellent. We are at retirement age and feel the cold a bit more than we used to so a warm house is a must for us. The idea of collecting free heat from the sun attracted us to the concept of solar heating of water. Greg Winter and Azzuro Solar Ltd provided us with a first class solar heating system that performs really well. Surplus hot water not needed for domestic use is used to heat our floor. We have the house at between 18 and 22 degrees all the time and up to the end of May we are still using only solar heat.

From an engineering background I was keen to ensure that we were getting value for money and a system that really would deliver. Azzuro Solar answered all of our questions about how the system would work and Greg did a great job providing the installation expertise.

No concerns for us if electricity prices go up, we have greatly reduced our need for using it.

We are very pleased with the performance of the solar hot water system installed by Greg. The work was carried out in a very professional manner, and the system needs very little sunlight (not even direct sun) to start producing hot water. It ran to maximum capacity on the shortest day (it was sunny though!) and has fired up as early as 9 am in early September. There is now plenty of free hot water for us to use. Savings to date (less than 3 months during a pretty horrible winter) are well in excess of 350kwh.
